Who is Gef?

Gef (pronounced 'Jeff') is an inventive, hard-working, black footed ferret that was exploring an unusual prarie dog colony close to a small town. Gef quickly runs into trouble when the townsfolk decide that the prarie dogs are too close for comfort and clear the colony to make more room for buildings. Gef is left to try to understand what is going on and hopefully find a new path.

How are we going to learn about Gef?

Right now I am working on character development that I will be working on for a comic/graphic novel format for now. Animation may come later if the design works well. A large part of the general style is evolving to find what I am comfortable with that will allow me to produce the story with the time and abilities available.

What age level is this appropriate for?

Good question. I do not like a lot of gore or bloodshed for its own sake. I may cover topics that are a little more adult but will try to keep it to a tasteful level. A huge part depends on where the story feels like it needs to go.

Any relations to Gef the Mongoose?

No. I didn't even know about that until I was double checking that Gef wasn't some odd euphemism that I didn't want associated with my character.
